The name of this band is taken from a rare lizard puppet who, among other animals that eat at a cannibalistic restaurant called "Sames", sits down to dine on his own kind. This guy, however, breaks off his own tail and tells the chef to cook it rare so that he can 'taste the endangered blood.' Now that's modern jazz! We play a piece by Hilmar Jensson. Oscar wrote one for Paul Motian. Sometimes we play in 11/8 ( 2+2+3+2+2).
